HR 144 Bill to return gas tax

A few minutes ago, H144 to RESTORE THE GAS TAX PASSED THE SENATE! UNANIMOUSLY!

Now, it's on to the Governor's desk for signature! Many thanks to all of you who helped get this bill passed!

The bill to restore gas tax to IDPR passed the House Transportation Committee with a ‘do pass recommendation’ yesterday! As of today, it has not been scheduled for a floor vote. I expect that will be next week. However, now would be a good time to notify your representatives of your desire for them to vote for this bill.

Simply say, “Please vote for H 144 to restore the gas tax to IDPR” Thank you and leave your name and address.
