IDPR is accepting comments on the proposed OHV safety course being considered for the Northwest Corner of Farragut State Park

Take a minute and fill-out the comment, This is a positive move to allow the use of a small part of the park for ATV safety classes. This will save the $25.00 per class IDPR currently pays out of OHV fund to use the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

Your welcome to mail the comments to the
club Po Box and we'll get them to IDPR or
you can send it to them directly
.

Nez-Perce Clearwater Forest
Issues Travel Plan Decision

As usual OHV Folks have lost riding opportunities. Early estimates show about 400 miles of motorized trails were closed.  Overall this is about a 35% reduction in summer trail miles.

About 200,000 acres of snowmobile opportunities gone as well. (This is being referred to as their "Great Burn")

Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest Supervisor Rick Brazell has decided how motorized uses will be managed on roads and trails within the boundaries of the 1.8-million-acre Clearwater National Forest.
