ATV Safety Training
Rich Gummersall of Idaho State Park and Recreation attended our November meeting to discuss up and coming Instructor training classes. He asked that we supply a list of those interested in taking the next Instructor Training classes.  We hope to finalize the list at this months meeting.  If you’re interested in becoming an instructor let Frank, Alvin, Shannon or Kori know. Contact information is on page 3

We are thankful for all our sponsors and dealers that have donated prizes and supported our various functions throughout the year 2007.

Also we want to recognize the dealers Specialty Recreation & Marine, CDA Polaris and Edge Performance for their extra willingness during our 2007 year-end party.   Thank you again ~

Kootenai County Sheriff will be joining us on the trails

Matt Street with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s office presented a new deputy patrol program going into affect in April.  This program will be to provide a stronger police presence for not only public safety but educational services. They will be watching for those violating the law as well.  We will be discussing this information at the January membership meeting and looking for someone who might like to be on an interview committee to possible assist the Sheriff’s hiring panel in picking the right officers for the position.  While some may construe this as a negative for ATV’rs, we all know there are folks out there not obeying the rules causing problems for the ATVing community.
